The Andhra Pradesh cabinet led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has approved the implementation of a universal health policy aimed at providing free and quality treatment to nearly five crore people across the state.Under the scheme, insurance companies will provide health coverage ranging from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, while the NTR Vaidya Seva Trust will extend additional coverage of Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh for families living below the poverty line (BPL).
